چکیده
ABSTRACT The present study aimed to investigate the clinical results of modified Codivilla–Hey Groves–Colonna capsular arthroplasty in treatment young patients with developmental dislocation hip. We retrospectively evaluated 90 (92 hips) who underwent from June 2012 2021. Hips were using hip Harris score (mHHS), Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index (WOMAC) 12-item International Hip Outcome Tool (iHOT-12). Tönnis osteoarthritis grade Severin classification system used assess radiographic outcomes. average age was 15.7 years (range: 8–26 years). mean pre-operative mHHS, WOMAC iHOT-12 83.03, 14.05 52.79, respectively. followed for a 41.1 months 12.1–120.9 months). had mHHS 83.61 31.2–97), 16.41 0–51) an 64.81 12.9–98.2) at final follow-up. Capsular thickness positive predication on functional excellent/good rate radiological reduction 79.3%. More than 60% no/slight osteoarthritis. Comparing the Quality of Life Before and After Total Hip Arthroplasty Operation in Patients With Developmental Dysplasia of the Hip
Purpose: Developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH) increases the risk of secondary degenerative changes and subsequent total hip arthroplasty. The postoperative quality of life in patients with DDH who have been born and grown with this disability and adapted to it during the life, is one of the most challenging issues. This study aimed to compare the quality of life of patients with DDH before ...

متن کاملCapsular augmentation in Colonna arthroplasty for the management of chronic hip dislocation
Colonna capsular arthroplasty represents an option for the management of chronic hip dislocation in young patients with dysplasia. In the appropriate patient, modern capsular arthroplasty procedures may provide an opportunity for hip preservation in patients with preserved femoral head cartilage and not appropriate for total hip arthroplasty. Here, we review our experience with surgical disloca...
متن کاملthe effect of e-64 on the developmental competence of sheep cocs during in vitro maturation
in the present study, the effect of e-64 at different concentrations (0.5, 1, 5 and 10 µm) added to (1) the ivm medium on oocyte nuclear maturation and developmental competence of ovine oocytes, and (2) to the ivc medium on embryonic development of ovine embryos were investigated.
Posterior capsular repair following total hip arthroplasty: a modified technique.
Various techniques of posterior capsular repair following THA have been reported and studies have demonstrated the merits of posterior capsular repair with respect to decreasing the incidence of dislocation. Our modified technique using three sutures offers excellent fixation of the hip capsule on the greater trochanter. The small drill holes needed for the #2 Fiberwire minimize the risk of a g...
